Regardless of how long I’ve been a teacher or a mom, I am reminded every day that parenting is a difficult undertaking.
Especially when you really want to do it well.
And regardless of my prayers and reading and “preparation,” I am routinely caught off guard and am constantly learning something new.
Have you ever felt that way?
I am not a perfect mom [GLORY! Just ask my kids...and my friends], but I am passionate about thinking about parenting in new ways. Can I make a chart for that? How about a project for that? I’d love the opportunity to speak to your group and share a little more!
- My goal is to empower and inspire parents with creative ideas so that they feel able, by God’s grace, to view themselves as their child’s first teacher
- A Time Perspective: the hours are ours to spend. Will we spend them well? And how?
- Integrating traditional subject areas into everyday life
- Keeping Christ at the center of it all
- Working on spiritual formation in the home

Hi Jane!
I’m involved with the Chapel Pointe MOPS group in Jenison and we would love to have you speak to our group sometime Spring 2012. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Could you let me know more information about the message(s) or topic(s) you have prepared? Also, let me know your availability and rates. Thanks! We have heard great reviews about the “unofficial homeschooler” and would be excited to hear from you!
Merry Christmas!
Kate Betancourt
